Family Law Mediation
Give yourself peace of mind by working with a New Ways For Families Mediator® trained in high-conflict family disputes and a trauma-informed lens. Not every mediation is high-conflict; however, you can feel confident the same tools apply when emotions run high.
Mediation is voluntary, confidential, and an excellent way to practice working as co-parents with a neutral party who can support you in staying focused on establishing parenting time, budgeting for the future, child and spousal support, deciding on personal property division, and other difficult conversations.
The court system prefers families experiencing divorce to handle their cases through mediation, with the understanding that parents know their family best. Because mediation agreements are binding, and by design, mediators cannot provide legal advice, we recommend that both parties have an attorney review their agreements before signing and consult an expert regarding any specific questions or concerns.
Please note: Brittany Bennett is not an attorney or therapist. She works collaboratively with parents one-on-one, their attorneys, the judicial system, and industry experts. Her experience includes settling high-conflict divorce cases, including those with a Personal Protection Order (PPO), alleged criminal charges, domestic violence, and translators when needed.
